The campaign finance law, MGL Ch. 55, requires that you file a campaign disclosure report with this office on or before January 20, 2011.
Your report must disclose all campaign finance activity from the day following the ending date of the last report filed by you through December 31, 2010.
Records of all receipts and expenditures must be maintained by a candidate and committee for all activities, regardless of amount. Candidates and treasurers of all political committees organized in Massachusetts are required by law to preserve detailed accounts, vouchers and receipts for six years from the date of the relevant election.
If you do not have a political committee organized on your behalf and you have not received any contributions, made any expenditures or incurred any liabilities during this reporting period and you do not have a previous campaign balance you may simply sign an M102-0 affidavit stating those facts.
