BOH meetings are scheduled on the second and forth Thursday of the month, starting at 7:00 p.m. Occasionally a meeting may be cancelled or rescheduled due to a lack of a quorum or holiday. Please call ahead to confirm.
Additional meetings may be added as necessary with 48 hours public posting of meeting date, time and location.
Meetings are open to the public and take place at the T.O.H.P. Burnham Public Library, Town Hall, 30 Martin Street, Essex, MA. Entrance is via the handicap ramp on the right side of the building . Items for review at the meeting must be submitted to the Board of Health office no later than the Monday preceding the meeting date for review by the Administrator to the Board of Health. Items needing additional time due to depth of review, missing information or current Department workload may not be on the agenda for the upcoming meeting. We will do our best to accommodate you in meeting your deadlines.
If you wish to discuss an issue with the Board, you must make an appointment no later than the morning of the day prior to the scheduled meeting. Appointments may be made in writing, in person, by phone or by email to email@example.com .
