Library Events -October 2016 - WOW! So many great options for ALL ages!
¨ KIDS SHREDDED BOOK CONTEST…. Kids, grades K-5, take a look at our shredded book in a jar. Guess its’ title and enter our raffle for a prize!
¨ MINECRAFT & GAMING CLUB…. For Grade school children. Tuesdays at 4pm October 4, 11, 18, 25. Bring your own device and play alongside other gamers.
¨ POKEMON CLUB… Wednesdays at 4pm, October 5, 12, 19, 26.  Grade school children, join other enthusiasts for an hour of fun and discussion.
¨ ZENTANGLE COLORING…Friday, October 7. Drop in anytime between 3-5pm  for some autumn relaxation. Color a Zentangle pumpkin and enjoy a cup of hot cider.
¨ READ TO LOGAN…The Reading Dog! Thursdays, Oct 13 & 27 at 4:00-5:00pm for grades 1-5. Spaces are limited, sign up is required. Email or call for more info.
¨ POLICE STORY HOUR… Friday, October 14th at 4pm. A member of our very own Essex Police force will be here to read stories and take photos with children, ages 3 and up.
¨ PATRON APPRECIATION DAY… Saturday, October 15th, 10am-12pm. We’re open again on Saturdays! Stop by for a book and enjoy cider and donuts.
¨ TWEENS & TEENS HALLOWEEN ORIGAMI… Friday, October 21st, 6pm, grades 6-12. Join us for themed paper folding and sweet treats.
Þ FEASTING ON SOUPS:HOW TO MAKE ONE SOUP RECIPE INTO TWO … Monday, Oct 24th, 6pm featuring Liz Barbour. Please register in advance.
This special program is paid for by the TOHP Burnham Friends of the Library.
¨ HALLOWEEN CRAFT… for grades K-5, Friday, October 28th, 3-5pm. Sign up now to ensure we have enough supplies on hand.

S.T.E.A.M. Ages 3-5years
The club will be on Thursday mornings, 9am in the library, beginning Oct. 6 and concluding Nov. 17th.
What IS STEAM?  STEAM is an educational approach to learning that uses Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics.
Through CFCE grant funding, we are able to host this unique club administered by the Birth to Three Center of Ipswich.
Spaces are very limited and registration is required.
