·         4th & 5th  GRADE BOOK GROUP– Tuesdays at 4pm, January 3, 10, 17, 24, 31. Join us as we read Andrew Clements “About Average.” Group is limited to 10 participants-Sign up now!
·         POKEMON CLUBContinuing each Wednesday afternoon from 4-5pm. All ages welcome.
·         LIBRARY “LITTLES” PLAYGROUP Children, ages 0-5 & caregivers. Get out of the house on cold wintry mornings and mingle with others from the community in the cosy library. Thursdays January: 5, 12, 19, 26 from 9:30-11am.  Drop-ins welcome.
·         PRE-SCHOOL SPANISH CLASS Children, ages 3, 4, 5, register NOW to take part in this 7 week program on Friday mornings, beginning January 6th, 11:30-12:15.  Explore Spanish through music, movement and sign language with instructor Luce Corona. This course is administered through a CFCE grant and the Ipswich Birth to Three Center. Register by emailing
·         GAME DAY— All ages! Join us anytime from 3-5pm on Friday, January 6th for a variety of board games and lots of fun!
·         COMMUNITY MOVIE NIGHT—Friday, January 6th, 6:30pm featuring Meryl Streep in “Florence Foster Jenkins.” Rated PG-13.
·         TEEN ADVISORY BOARD DINNER— Grades, 6-12, join us on Monday, January 9th, 5pm for pizza and to give your input for 2017 Young Adult events! Please RSVP. Community Service Hours given for time spent planning!
·         COMMUNITY BOOK GROUP—Tuesday,  January 10th, 9:30am. Pick up a copy of Charles Finch’s mystery, “A Beautiful Blue Death” at the front desk.
·         KNITTING CLUB— Beginning Friday, January 13th at 3:30pm and continuing on Fridays through Feb. 3rd. Ages 8-108! All supplies provided.
·         HANDICRAFT NIGHT—Thursday, January 19th, 7-9pm. Bring your current project (knitting, scrapbooking, beading, etc.) to work on with other hobbyists.
·         ORGANIZING 101: DECLUTTER, SIMPLYFY, GET ORGANIZED!Sat. Jan 21, 1pm. Join professional organizer Marilyn Cruickshank to learn the basics of getting organized, as well as tried and true strategies and simple solutions for dealing with the overload we all face on a daily basis. You will leave the presentation with ideas to apply a be inspired to de-clutter and get your spaces organized for a fresh start to 2017! Funded by The Friends of the Library.
·         KID’S CRAFTERNOON—Monday, January 23, 3-5pm. Kids, 5 and up, drop in to create a wintertime craft.
