Officer Gilardi has a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice and has been a Police Officer for 28 years. He started his career with the Rockport Police Department and has been with the Essex Police Department for the past 20 years. Rob has been the Essex Prosecutor since 1993, and in that capacity he has been the departments liaison to the Gloucester District Court. In addition to being the Court Prosecutor, he serves as the departments Domestic Violence and Property/Evidence officer. Rob is the liaison to the community's senior citizens and attends thier monthly Triad meetings. Rob also served as the Essex Police Benevolent Associations president for 16 years
