Officer Thomas P. Shamshak Jr. joined the Essex Police Department in January of 2007.
He has been a police officer since 2005. Officer Shamshak holds a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice.
Officer Shamshak is the department's Field Training Officer and also a Use of Force instructor.
