2010 SUMMER PROGRAM

The summer program will be back at Centennial Grove.
We are looking forwarding to returning to the Grove and using the new basketball courts.
The Board of Selectmen has installed a new, lightning protection system on the Folsom Pavilion that is designed to rapidly direct lightning strikes to the ground. Also, the Town has been provided with the use of a tent to provide cover from sun and light rain where various activities such as arts and crafts will take place
On rainy days the program will be held at the Essex Elementary School.
The summer program is for children who are entering Kindergarten through eight grade and is open to residents and non-residents. We offer a variety of activities, special events, field trips and much more. Our program is designed to allow each child to explore with his/her peers and participate in activities of interest with their own grade and grades below and above them.

Family Discount (8-week session only) available for more than two children. $50.00 off the third child and each additional child.
Non-residents please add $75.00 per child to the program fee.
CIT PROGRAM
COUNSELOR IN TRAINING
The EYC is now accepting applications for CIT’s for the 2010 season. We are looking for mature and team-oriented teens who are entering into their freshman year of high school (fall 2010) and who are committed to developing their leadership skills and working with children. The application process includes the CIT application, a letter of recommendation and a personal interview. CIT positions are unpaid and do not guarantee a paid position for the following year.
Fee: $60.00 (includes t-shirt, training and end of summer party).
