Bicycle Rodeo
Date: Thursday, October 6, 2016 (Rain date: Friday, October 7, 2016)
Time: 3:00pm to 6:00pm
Location: Essex Elementary School: Basketball court/playground
Description: A bicycle rodeo helps to raise awareness for bicycle related injuries, encourage increased helmet use of children, and allow children to test their bicycle handling skills on their own. There will be a skills course including: walking bicycles through crosswalks, waiting at stop signs, braking, and a few others. There will also be a helmet fitting area, and Seaside Cycle will have a member present for a free bicycle safety inspection.
