Demolition Permit: 166 Eastern Ave.  Plans were reviewed for new building for landscape company.  Revisions were approved by Historical Commission

Dan Mayer donated wood to rebuild pavilion where the historic pavilion once stood at Chabacco Lake at the Grove.  Jodi Harris reviewed plans for new pavilion and the regrading of the parking lot.  Intention is for the town to make this a revenue producing amenity in town.

Ideas were discussed that the Ship Building Museum functioned as a 501C3.  How can the Historical Commission partner with the Historic Society/Museum to raise funds for town projects to educate and preserve?  It was pointed out by Jodi and Keith that we are the only town with a shipyard that is not associated with the military.  How can we partner to highlight this?  Should we partner with each other to clean out and refurbish where the ships once launched?  Jay further expressed interest to partner to raise money for surveys of private properties in town.  Jay will be connecting with Brendhan Zubricki to inquire if grants are available for surveys in town.  Ship Building Museum can assist with grant writing.

The intention of the surveys would be to educate and to preserve the town's history as many of the town's people who are knowledgable about the history are aging out.
