Resident parking stickers are valid September 1st through August 31 and are issued annually. 

How to Purchase your Sticker

Please refer to the Resident Parking Sticker Regulations (please see document attached at the bottom of this page), adopted March 7, 2022 by the Board of Selectmen, and revised on July 24, 2023, which sets forth eligibility, document requirements and limitations on resident parking stickers. Resident stickers are $20 each per resident. You can purchase your sticker in person at Town Hall during normal business hours Monday-Thursday 7:30am-3:30pm. You must provide a valid vehicle registration and Driver's License. The Town Clerk's office accepts cash or checks only. You can also mail in your request by submitting a copy of your valid vehicle registration, Driver's License and check made payable to the Town of Essex.

Due to the new regulations, resident parking stickers can no longer be purchased online.

The following locations in the Town of Essex are Resident Parking Only:

• Chebacco Lake Parking Lot
• Conomo Point
• Town Boat Ramp (with Boat Trailer)
• Municipal Parking Lot (portion of)
• End of Island Road

To avoid a parking violation please ensure you have a current sticker on your vehicle in the lower left hand corner of your windshield (driver's side corner) for the enforcement officers to easily acknowledge. Any questions please call 978-768-7111 or email.
