Decorative Downtown Lighting

Decorative lighting along the Essex causeway has been the goal of many planning committees to enhance the look and safety of the downtown district for residents, businesses, and visitors. This presentation has been created to show the history of this effort.  Also, please enjoy a video of the plaques created to commemorate some of the Essex-Built Ships.  They will be installed next to each lamppost to remind all of our Shipbuilding Heritage.
